Nodes with Change of In / Out of Service Between Cases

This analysis rule includes the list of node elements that have a change in the service Attribute from the previous case.

This change can indicate the following:

  • Lineup change
  • Invalid configuration
  • Data error

The following table lists a sample log output for this analysis.

Analysis Method

  1. Collect a list of all node elements in the current Case and previous Case that satisfy the following criteria:
  • Node Element service status is different in current Case from the previous case.
  1. Write to the log section of the case. Report the current Element status and, the previous Element status.

Configuration Using the Wizard

The configuration of the Nodes with Change of In/Out of service between Cases is a selection of the General Gross Error Analysis Rule. You open the window for configuring the test (shown in the following figure) from the General Gross Error Analysis Rule Wizard.

  1. Open the Gross Error Configuration window as described in Configuring - General Gross Error Analysis Rule.

  2. On the Nodes tab, select Nodes with change of in/out of service between cases.

  3. Select the Attribute that represents the In-Service Status. The following table provides a description.

  4. Click OK to finish the configuration.

    The text "CONFIGURED" displays next to the 'Nodes with change of in/out of service between cases' selection.
